About the Role
We’re looking for a senior, highly strategic Creator Marketing Lead to own creator partnerships at Chronicle end-to-end.
We want to partner with the smartest voices in design, tech, and productivity to show the world what Chronicle can do. This is a 0→1 and 1→10 role - you’ll design our creator strategy, build and manage relationships globally, and turn creators into a repeatable, scalable acquisition channel.
You will own the entire lifecycle of creator partnerships: from identifying the right builders and storytellers on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, to negotiating deals, shaping creative briefs, and tracking performance. You will work closely with our Growth and Product teams to align creator content with launches, features, and our broader narrative.
This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience running creator or influencer programs for US audiences, ideally for early-stage SaaS, prosumer, or developer tools.
What You’ll Own
Creator Partnerships & Strategy (Primary Focus)
- Design and own Chronicle’s global creator strategy across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
- Identify, onboard, and manage creators across all tiers - from niche productivity experts to massive design channels
- Build long-term, authentic creator partnerships, moving away from transactional one-off posts
- Own outreach, negotiation, contracting, timelines, and delivery end-to-end
- Develop sharp creative briefs that translate Chronicle’s value into native, high-performing content that audiences actually want to watch
Creator-Led GTM & Distribution
- Turn creator partnerships into a durable, measurable GTM channel (not just a marketing experiment)
- Work closely with founders and the Growth team to align creators with product launches, new features, and core narratives
- Explore non-obvious partnerships: affiliates, rev-share models, co-created templates, and education-driven content
- Build systems for tracking performance: CAC, retention, assisted conversions, and brand lift. Experiment aggressively with formats and creators, and double down on what works

Must Haves
- 2-5+ years of experience in creator or influencer marketing, ideally for SaaS, B2B, developer tools, or prosumer products
- Hands-on experience running creator campaigns targeting US audiences
- Proven ability to take creator marketing from idea → execution → scale
- Strong intuition for internet culture, creators, and what actually converts. You know the difference between a generic ad read and a compelling product integration
- Comfortable negotiating, managing budgets, and holding creators accountable to timelines and deliverables
- Clear written and verbal communication - you can brief creators and internal teams crisply and confidently
Nice to Have
- Experience working at an early-stage or fast-growing startup
- Experience building affiliate or rev-share creator programs from scratch
- Background working with tools for designers, developers, founders, or consultants

Hiring process
We’re looking for ambitious builders who want to shape Chronicle’s future. Here’s how we approach hiring:
- ☕ Intro chat with Sam (chief of staff): Your background, influencer intuition, and how you think about influencer-led growth
- 📝 Take-home assignment: You’ll design an influencer strategy for Chronicle (brief, influencer mix, budget, experimentation plan). We care more about how you think than polish
- 📑 Case interview with Tejas (co-founder): A working session where we pressure-test your strategy and decision-making. We’ll explore trade-offs, constraints, and “what would you do if…” scenarios - similar to how we make real decisions at Chronicle. You’ll also walk us through your assignment, past campaigns, and the reasoning behind your choices
- 🎨 Taste chat with Mayuresh (co-founder): A discussion on content taste, influencer instincts, and how you’d represent Chronicle publicly
